Day 4

Today was the Martin Luther King's Jr. birthday, and President Obama asked the people to have a day of service. My group went to Marvin Gaye Park and cleaned up the park and bagged up the leaves. We worked for about an hour then we went of to get some lunch. We came back to the hotel early we could rest. My god-mother and god-sister picked me up. We took the metro out to a town called "Alexandria" and stayed at a friend's house. I got to sleep in my own bed and take a nice long shower. But I had to get to sleep early so I could get up early for the inauguration.
