Day 3

Today was a day for celebration and rock n' roll. Myself and 5 other reporters headed out to the reflecting pool on the Washington Mall. We gathered together and waited for 5 hours in the freezing cold, just waiting for the performance to start. In the mean time, Brian, Logan, Christian, and I walked around the WWII memorial. It was very inspiring to see how many people gave up their lives for me to be where I am today. We played around the memorial for a while and then found our way back to where we were sitting. 10 minutes before the consort, they raised the gates and the crowd unexpectedly rushed. In the stampede we ran for the front but were unable to make it. This was the start of 2 hour of standing. But the crowd rejoiced when the speakers began to speak and the performance had started. There were many great musicians out there like; Beyonce, U2, Will I Am, Bon Jovi Mary J. Blige, Shakria, James Taylor, Sheral Crow, Stevie Ray Vaghn, John Legend, and much more. Also there were celebrity speakers like; Jack Black, Steve Carell, and Samuel Jackson. But of course President Obama spoke and the crowd went wild. We came to the hotel room and relaxed after a long days work.
